I really want that food

I am speaking for Otis. This is my take on what is going through Otis's mind....

I really want Peanut's food. These people just leave this food down here and taunt me with it. Don't they know how hard it is for a dog to resist temptation. What are they thinking. Although I am still full from breakfast and I am to tired to get up. What should I do?

School Castle Project

Kurtis had to create a castle for his school project. They had two weeks to do this project. Of course we procrastinated and only had a weeks time to complete this. Kurt and Kurtis worked really hard on this and I think Kurt had more fun than Kurtis. I did give a few ideas and helped a little. It was a good family project. Kurtis will be presenting this in class today. I will update with his final grade . Here are some of the pictures of his project. We are very proud of Kurtis and he is proud of himself. Good Job Kurtis!!!!!!!!

Hiking Trip through Kettle Moraine Park

We went hiking at the Kettle Morraine Park in where else but Kettle Morraine. It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed becoming one with nature until the dogs got ticks on them. Plus Kirsti got one in her hair. That was a nightmare. They are gross little creatues. There was a lot of drama. In the end through all the drama, and a trip to the doctors office, the tick was removed and were assured it was a wood tick and not a deer tick that carries lime's disease. We are all ok.

My Dad's Wedding

Iwould like to congratulate my dad. He was married on Friday April 17th. He is married to Pam, his girlfriend of 7 years. We are very happy for him. Pam is a wonderful person and will take great care of him. We are very happy to have her in our lives. Good job Dad!!! Stay happy!!!! Also what was neat was instead of the Unity candle they had everyone dump colored sand in a vase to combine family and friends. It was a really neat idea and something to always remember.

High School Musical Three

Thought I would post this back from August. It is appropriate now that High School Musical 3 is coming out this weekend. When we were at the Wi. State Fair in August My neighbor and her daughter and Kirsti and I went to the Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu concert. It was so much fun. It was the girls first concert. Kirsti was dancing and singing and of course screaming the whole time. She loved it and I will say it was awesome to watch her enjoy this. I did feel really old though. It was all real young kids and their parents.
So of course the pressure is on to see High School Musical 3 this weekend. I feel like it is going shopping the day after Thanksgiving. Where is it playing, how early do we have to get there. What kid are we going to have to push over to get through. kidding. Kirsti is so excited about going, I hope we can do it.
Here are some pictures of our experience of the concert....

It has been awhile

I know it has been awhile since I put anything on here. So I will update you next. I have been busy with the kids going back to school and getting a job and juggling the house stuff. Things are starting to get a little bit easier but I know as the holidays approach it will get even crazier. We will see how long I keep up.

The Fair of all Fairs.

The Wisconsin State Fair is probably the biggest fair of the summer. When Kurt and I were dating so many years ago, he introduced me to this fair. It is so much fun. You eat and walk all day. By the end of the day your feet are killing you and your stomach is saying why did you eat all that, plus you have just shelled out about $200.00. I will say though for as much as you eat you do not gain any weight because you are constantly on the move. There are all the farm animals to see. Cows, horses, pigs, rabbits, etc....They also have entertainment. There are main line concerts. Kirsti and I are going to the Vanessa Hudgens and Corbin Blue concert. For those of you who do not know them they are from High School musical. Then of course you have the fair rides and games. This year we went with just the four of us. It was a really great time. It is a great family event. Oh and you can't forget the cream puffs. This is what the fair is known for. They are amazing. Kirsti and Kurtis had their first ones this year. All I will say is unbelievable. we got there early enough and did not have to wait in line. There have been lines where you are waiting for almost an hour. They were yummy.
